NYC recently hosted a festival celebrating the Internet industry & community. Internet Week New York brought about 10,000 people to the Metropolitan Pavilion for five days of keynotes, networking, and workshops on how technology is disrupting the likes of media, education, healthcare, finance, and fashion – with a particular focus on New York businesses and entrepreneurs.
The funny thing about attending events like this is you’re bound to run into IE alumni. Case in point, IMBA graduate Paul Murphy participated on a panel about “Mentoring in Entrepreneurial Environments” and how to prepare the next generation of thought leaders in tech. Paul is currently SVP of product at Betaworks, so now you know who to blame for your recent fixation on connecting the Dots.
