This week, the Spanish government hosted seven British journalists here in Madrid, to give them more insight into the country and the current economy. In addition to meeting with various government representatives and experiencing some Spanish culture, the reporters visited IE Business School, where they met with some of the school’s top economic experts, including Professor Gayle Allard, Professor Gonzalo Garland, and Professor Fernando Fernandez.
Fernandez – a former economist with the IMF and Santandar, and a regular newspaper contributor – presented the group with an overview and analysis of Spain’s economy (pictured above.)
Journalists in attendance represented The Daily Telegraph, The Economist, Financial Times, The Guardian, Reuters, and The Times.
