There’s nothing like hands on experience, particularly for BBA students interested in learning about social entrepreneurship. This term, students in Professor Rachida Justo’s BBA class have been working with a company called UEIA, an accelerator for Spanish tech-based projects.
Students were divided into groups to do some pro bono consulting work for UEIA clients. At the end of the term, this past week, they presented their findings and recommendations to both UEIA and their clients. The students pictured above are presenting to Afables, a company that matches caretakers with people who need help in their home.
Professor Justo also got some additional hands on experience, doubling as a videographer during her students’ presentation. That’s her in the corner of the above photo.
