Margó Salon de Té

baked goods at Margo’s

Sometimes, you really need something sweet.  And maybe a spot of tea.  But really, the thing is the slice of cake, or the pastry, or the brownie, or the lemon pie.

You’ll find all that (plus chocolates!) just next to campus, on the corner of calle Miguel Angel and Maria de Molina. Margó Salon de Té is a fairly traditional tea room with a nice selection from Harney & Sons (to sip in or take home.)  Green, black, white, rooibos, infusions – all served in personal pots in an appropriately calm setting.  And the sweet options abound, as evident in the bird’s eye photo above.

So if you are looking for something a little different from the hustle of the traditional Spanish coffee spot, check out Margo’s.  Of course, this is Spain, so espresso, wine, cava, and bocadillos de jamón are also available.
